Registered Psychologists
At mindhack. we offer individual, couples and family sessions with our experienced and registered psychologists. Each of our psychologists have varied specialisations and experience in providing help for different mental health difficulties. Click here to read more about each of our psychologists. Most sessions are 50 minutes. However, sometimes treatment may require longer sessions. For children age 0-10 we usually have an initial session with just the parents/guardians before meeting with children. Family therapy and couples sessions are also available.

Cancellation Fees
When you book a session with a psychologist, the psychologist sets aside that time especially for you. Fees for cancellation of appointments will be applied if no replacement service is billed for the lost time. We will send an SMS reminder of your appointment 48 hours before. If you think you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as soon as you receive your reminder SMS. The cancellation fee is payable on the day of the missed appointment and future appointments cannot be booked until the fee is paid. For a 46–60 minute session, the cancellation fees will be:
No notice of cancellation: Full fee is payable before another session can be booked
Less than 24 hours notice: $100 fee
Less than 48 hours: $50 fee

Less than 48 hours: $50 fee
Reduced fees for concession card holders
If you are a concession card holder we offer a reduced rates. If you also have a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician, then the out-of-pocket-cost is reduced. If you have private health, then you may be entitled to rebates through your health fund. Please ask your private health fund for details. We aim to be an inclusive service and can offer reduced fees for patients with financial hardship. Please contact us for more details.
Mobile service
We offer treatment sessions at our clinic 6/15 Welch Street, Southport, 4215. We also offer out-of-office treatment sessions. Travel costs may apply, please contact us of more details.
Online and Telehealth
Therapy sessions are also available via secure telehealth . An assessment session is conducted first to ensure it is appropriate to conduct therapy online and there is a good internet connection. Sessions are charged at the standard sessions rate.
GP Referrals
Rebates for sessions are available through Medicare. To be eligible, you need a Mental Health, Chronic Disease, or Eating Disorder Care Plan from your GP, Pediatrician, or other eligible health professional. Private one-hour session rates apply to sessions under Medicare and we offer on-site rebate processing at the time of your appointment.
